Accessor Preferences AI Engine

Instead of having to manually order the Accessor Preferences yourself, AIQ can now automatically order them by evaluating each path and each string and use new AI-driven policies to sort the preferences from the best to the most brittle.

This functionality is not enabled by default. You must decide whether or not you want to take advantage of this new functionality.

This functionality is in Beta release in AIQ 4.10.

Deciding not to enable the AI Engine

Some reasons why you may not wish to enable the Accessor Preferences AI Engine :

  • You have created your own SmartTags and want those SmartTags to always be the highest priority

  • You prefer an alternate accessor

  • A DPL enabled accessor is impacted

  • Playback with fallback accessors is turned off

Enabling the Accessor Preferences AI Engine

You can enable the Accessor Preference AI Engine functionality by editing the aiAccessorPreferences setting in the global.json file.

  • To enable the Accessor Preferences AI Engine, edit the aiAccessorPreferences option in the global.json file to: "aiAccessorPreferences":false,

  • If at any time you decide not to use the Accessor Preferences AI Engine, edit the aiAccessorPreferences option in the global.json file to: "aiAccessorPreferences":true,
