# Geolocation Testing in AIQ Mobile Tests

## Recommended guidance

Use geolocation testing when a mobile or web scenario must validate behavior based on location. Configure test location intentionally and document how the location is provided, mocked, approved, or reset.

## What to verify

- Device, browser, or simulator location permissions.
- Latitude, longitude, accuracy, and expected application behavior.
- Network, VPN, proxy, and regional service dependencies.
- Reset behavior so one run does not affect the next run.

## Validation workflow

1. Confirm location permissions are granted through approved user/admin flow.
2. Run a small scenario that validates the expected location-dependent UI or API response.
3. Capture evidence without exposing sensitive personal location data.
4. Document device, OS, browser, and Test Node details for reproducibility.
