Use geolocation testing when a mobile or web scenario must validate behavior based on location. Configure test location intentionally and document how the location is provided, mocked, approved, or reset.
What to verify
Device, browser, or simulator location permissions.
Latitude, longitude, accuracy, and expected application behavior.
Network, VPN, proxy, and regional service dependencies.
Reset behavior so one run does not affect the next run.
Validation workflow
Confirm location permissions are granted through approved user/admin flow.
Run a small scenario that validates the expected location-dependent UI or API response.
Capture evidence without exposing sensitive personal location data.
Document device, OS, browser, and Test Node details for reproducibility.
