# Azure DevOps Integration for AIQ

Use this article when integrating AIQ with Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines, work items, or release workflows.

## What changed in this article

- Corrected capitalization from “Azure Devops” to “Azure DevOps.”
- Added integration checks for organization/project URL, repository or pipeline scope, token permissions, branch/path mapping, artifacts, work item references, and auditability.
- Added guidance to use token-based access and avoid storing passwords in integration settings.

## Validation workflow

1. Confirm the Azure DevOps organization, project, repository or pipeline, and integration owner.
2. Validate token scope, branch/path settings, artifact access, and pipeline/work item behavior with a controlled test.
3. Document the integration owner and rotation process for credentials or tokens.

**Review note:** This page now distinguishes current Azure DevOps guidance from the legacy TFS reference.
