Ability to connect to our DB to run DB validations. What are the possible connectivity issues and possibility to connect?

You can create a SQL script that do DB SQL queries and validate them as the following example:

if the sql script contains a line after a SELECT line

-- storeInLocker=MyTestLockerKey1

then the result from the SELECT call will be stored in TheLocker (memory) with a name "MyTestLockerKey1"

You can then use a next script in your use case that consume that response (Java, TestNG, TestDesigner, or others)
