When to use this guidance
- You are reviewing an older environment that references a Python upgrade script.
- You need to understand historical upgrade notes before migrating to current guidance.
- You are deciding whether to consolidate or retire legacy upgrade pages.
Recommended approach
- Identify the installed AIQ version and the target supported version.
- Use the current official upgrade procedure as the source of truth.
- Back up configuration, database, DPLs, certificates, and custom integrations before any upgrade.
- Treat legacy scripts as historical references unless Support explicitly instructs you to use them.
- After upgrade, validate sign-in, scenario execution, reports, integrations, and test nodes.
Note: Legacy upgrade scripts can be version-specific. Do not run an old script against a current environment without Support confirmation.
