Resolve Java Heap Memory Errors During Scenario Execution
If Scenario Editor execution fails with a Java error such as “Could not reserve enough space” or a heap-allocation failure, verify the Java runtime and available system memory before changing AIQ settings.
1. Confirm that the installed Java runtime matches the operating system architecture (for example, use 64-bit Java on a 64-bit system).
2. Confirm that sufficient memory is available for the configured Java heap and concurrent execution load.
3. Restart the AIQ services after correcting the Java installation or memory configuration.
4. Re-run the scenario and review the output for the remaining root cause.
If the issue persists, collect the relevant AIQ and Java error logs for support analysis.
