Starting Appvance IQ Services

Prior to using Appvance IQ, the Appvance service must be running

1. Open Terminal
   
   Open Finder, go to Applications > Utilities, and double-click Terminal

2. Change directories to your Appvance IQ directory

   1. Open Finder, go to your Appvance IQ directory and right-click any file within the directory and select Get Info

   2. Highlight the Where path and select Copy

   3. Return to Terminal

   4. Enter cd, followed by a space, right-click and select Paste

   5. Press Enter

3. Enter sudo ./Appvance.sh and press Enter

4. Enter your password and press Enter
   
   The Appvance splash screen appears
   
   Once all services are running, the default browser displays the Appvance IQ login page

5. The default credentials are username and password appvance
