Install Preparation Checklist

Please ensure all preparation checklist items are completed and verified prior to install

Your Appvance contact is always available and more than willing to help with any questions or issues!

We recommend confirming the check list at least one business day prior to your scheduled install date, or more depending on your corporate timeframes for resolving permission issues.

1. Allocate an Appvance IQ Controller per the Appvance IQ System Requirements
2. Confirm the AIQ Required Ports are open with permission for use
3. Confirm your system permissions at minimum have:
   1. Administrator rights, or permission to select Run as Administrator for installs and system settings.
   2. Rights to edit System Environment Variables
   3. Rights to edit and manage system proxy settings
   4. Rights to download and execute JNLP files
4. Download and install Java 64-bit JDK GraalVM 11
5. Download the provided Appvance IQ build. If not already provided, please request from your Appvance contact.
6. Unless an alternate database was discussed, download (but do not install) the MySQL (MySQL-installer-community) from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/
7. If using Mac then follow the following MacOS configuration preparations: MacOS Required Configurations for AIQ
