Configure Java for AIQ

   PATH

   Configure environmentJava variableonly according to the GraalVMAIQ binversion directory.and (wheredeployment <version>model representsin use. Java requirements can differ across AIQ releases, operating systems, installers, and legacy integrations.

   Before configuration

   • Confirm the graalvmAIQ version,version ex:and 21.3.0)
     Syntax:the exportsupported PATH=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/graalvm-ce-java11-<version>/Contents/Home/bin:$PATH
     Example:Java exportor PATH=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/graalvm-ce-java11-21.3.0/Contents/Home/bin:$PATHGraalVM runtime.
   • UpdateCheck youroperating JAVA_HOMEsystem, installation path, service account, and environment variablevariables.
   • Remove toor resolveisolate toconflicting Java installations when they affect AIQ startup.
   • Validate permissions for AIQ services, scripts, and Test Nodes.

   Validation workflow

   1. Confirm the GraalVMruntime installationversion directory (where <version> representsfrom the graalvmsame version,account ex:that 21.3.0)
      Syntax:starts export JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/graalvm-ce-java11-<version>/Contents/Home/
      Example: export JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/graalvm-ce-java11-21.3.0/Contents/Home/AIQ.
   2. VerifyRestart yourAIQ installservices wasafter successful.
      Syntax:approved javaconfiguration -version
      Samplechanges.
   3. Review Output:
      openjdkstartup versionlogs "11.0.13"for 2021-10-19
OpenJDKruntime, Runtimepath, Environmentor GraalVMpermission CEerrors.
   4. Run 21.3.0a (buildScenario 11.0.13+7-jvmci-21.3-b05)
      OpenJDKEditor 64-Bitand ServerService VMSuite GraalVMsmoke CEtest 21.3.0after (buildJava 11.0.13+7-jvmci-21.3-b05, mixed mode, sharing)changes.
