Install the AIQ Database Schema

  3. Selectdatabase Appleschema Menuonly with the installer or migration process supported by the target AIQ version. Schema changes affect platform stability, upgrades, reporting, and clickexecution Systemhistory. Preferences

    Before installation

    • Confirm AIQ version, database version, host, schema name, user permissions, and backup status.
    • ClickVerify Privacycharset, &collation, Securitypacket size, case-sensitivity, and storage requirements.
    • ClickCoordinate downtime and rollback if the Generalschema tabis andbeing selectcreated Openor Anyway,migrated and then Open

    • If version compatibility issues occur, please try alternate download from https://downloads.mysql.com/archives/workbench/
    • When MySQL Workbench appears, assumingin a databaseshared connection does not already exist, click MySQL Connections + (add) button

    • EnterUse aapproved namescripts for the connection in the Connection Name box
      Enter the hostname, port and credentials (if needed) and click OK

    • Follow any prompts for updating the password
    • Click the newly created connection, for example AIQ as illustrated below

    • Select File and click Open SQL Query Script...
    • Browse to <AIQ>\TestNode\webapps\AppvanceServer\WEB-INF\classes\database
    • Select MySQLInitial.sql and click Open
    • Select Query and click Execute (All or Selection)
    • Select File and click Open SQL Script...
    • From the same location, select MySQLAppvance.sql and click Open
    • Select Query and click Execute (All or Selection)

Troubleshooting

Error Code: 1419. Youonly; do not havemanually edit schema objects without support guidance.

Validation workflow

  1. Run schema creation or migration from the SUPERapproved privilegeinstaller or script.
  2. Confirm AIQ can connect with the configured database user.
  3. Run login, Scenario Editor, Service Suite, and binaryreporting loggingsmoke istests.
  4. Review enabled

Ifand youdatabase get the above error while running the MySQLAppvance.sql script on AWS RDS, make sure that the RDS parameter group has the value 1 (ON)logs for thepermission, log_bin_trust_function_creatorsmigration, parameter.or Theobject RDS database MUST be rebooted for parameter changes to take effect.
