Recommended guidance

Install AIQ licenses and certificates using the approved customer-specific files and the process for the deployed AIQ version. Treat license files, private keys, and certificates as sensitive operational assets.

Before installation

• Confirm AIQ version, host name, license scope, expiration, and environment.
• Back up current license and certificate files before replacing them.
• Verify certificate chain, private key ownership, file permissions, and trust requirements.
• Schedule a maintenance window if services must restart.

Validation workflow

1. Install files in the approved location.
2. Restart only required AIQ services.
3. Confirm login, HTTPS access, and license status.
4. Review logs for certificate, trust, permission, or expiration errors.
