Roku Environment Setup for AIQ Testing

Use this article when preparing Roku devices or Roku-based applications for AIQ testing. Keep device state, network access, and application builds controlled so test runs are repeatable.

Setup checklist

• Confirm Roku device model, OS version, app/channel version, network, and account access.
• Place the Roku device and AIQ-controlled host on the required network path.
• Use a dedicated test account and reset application state when needed.
• Document remote-control method, expected screens, pairing requirements, and logs.
• Capture screenshots or device logs when troubleshooting navigation failures.

Validation workflow

1. Pair or configure the control method for the target device.
2. Run a short navigation smoke test.
3. Confirm AIQ can detect expected screens or application responses.
4. Record device/network/app build requirements in the test notes.
