Repository Troubleshooting in AIQ

Use this article when an AIQ workflow cannot connect to, read from, or write to a configured repository. Troubleshoot from the AIQ host or Test Node that actually performs the repository operation.

Common checks

  • Confirm repository type, endpoint, port, path, bucket, prefix, and region.
  • Validate credentials, IAM role, key, token, or certificate expiration.
  • Check network access, DNS, proxy, firewall, and allow-list rules.
  • Confirm folder or object permissions for read, write, list, delete, or rename operations.
  • Review file names, case sensitivity, size limits, and retention or lifecycle rules.

Resolution workflow

  1. Reproduce the issue with a small non-sensitive test file.
  2. Review AIQ logs and repository-side logs for the same timestamp.
  3. Test read and write separately to isolate permission issues.
  4. Document the root cause and update the repository article or FAQ if the issue is repeated.
