In addition to replacing the Appvance.properties file, you should also replace the realm.properties file which is located in the path \aiq\TestNode\etc\.

Copy the file realm.properties file from the previous install and replace the one in the new installation of AIQ install to resolve this issue.

    Downgrade Considerations and Issues

If you have a situation where you need use a previous version of AIQ for some reason, it is required that you create a new instance of the legacy version of AIQ.

Do not downgrade an existing AIQ version to a previous version. Features and settings in the newer AIQ configuration files may not be supported in previous versions of AIQ.

    Prerequisite Preparations

In your current AIQ server, go to Global Options > Admin Options > User Management > Export Users to create a .csv file containing a list of AIQ users that can be imported into the legacy AIQ version that you will be installing.

Download the license.lic file from the installation folder in your current AIQ server. This same license file can be used with the legacy AIQ server that you will be installing.

      Moving from 5.x to 4.10.x

Setting up a legacy 4.10.x AIQ server requires the creation of a new database compatible with 4.10.x. This is because the 4.10.x and 5.x database versions are not compatible.
