Can the Script Repository and Results Database Reside in One Location?

Can the script repository and results database reside in one location and be accessed remotely from another location, such as storing them in Indianapolis and accessing them from AWS Northern Virginia?

Yes. The script repository and results database can be hosted remotely and accessed from another location, provided that the required network connectivity and access permissions are available.

However, for performance and load testing, low network latency between the Controller, load generators, and results database is critical. For this reason, we recommend hosting the Controller, load generators, and results database in the same AWS region whenever possible.

For the results database, an AWS RDS instance can be used to store test results.

The script repository can be hosted in a Git or SVN repository and can be accessed remotely by the Appvance environment.
