Update build.xml Process
Follow the appropriate steps for your operating system:
Linux / Mac OS
Open a terminal and type the following commands. They will download a file updateGetURL.jar to the folder where you have your build.xml file. Do replace values between <> with your correct values.
cd <folder-with-build.xml-file>
wget http://<aiq controller domain>:8080/UI/container/updateGetURL.jar
java -jar updateGetURL.jar <controller-domain-or-ip> build.xml
Value for <controller-domain-or-ip> can be similar to any of the following:
java -jar updateGetURL.jar ec2-52-52-192-202.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com build.xml
java -jar updateGetURL.jar localhost build.xml
java -jar updateGetURL.jar 52.52.192.202 build.xml
java -jar updateGetURL.jar aiq-server.mydomain.com build.xml
Windows
Open a browser and download a file by copying the following URLnote into the browser:active CI/CD documentation.
http://<controller-domain-or-ip>:8080/UI/container/updateGetURL.jar
Copy the downloaded updateGetURL.jar file to the same folder where your build.xml file is located.
Execute the following command in a cmd prompt:
java -jar updateGetURL.jar <controller-domain-or-ip> build.xml
Value for <controller-domain-or-ip> can be similar to any of the following:
java -jar updateGetURL.jar ec2-52-52-192-202.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com build.xml
java -jar updateGetURL.jar localhost build.xml
java -jar updateGetURL.jar 52.52.192.202 build.xml
java -jar updateGetURL.jar aiq-server.mydomain.com build.xml
After executing the above commands, open your build.xml file in a text editor and verify that a line similar to the following exists:
<get dest="${lib}/RestClient.jar" src="http://<controller-domain>:8080/UI/container/AppvanceCIClientWithDeps.jar"/>
The text <controller-domain> should be replaced by your controller domain/ip as shown in the controller.json file.
Push the changes to the build.xml file in your repository.
Troubleshooting
In case of any issues running the java updateGetURL.jar, you can manually edit the build.xml file to have the get line to have the src property use your controller to download the client such as :
<get dest="${lib}/RestClient.jar" src="http://<controller-domain>:8080/UI/container/AppvanceCIClientWithDeps.jar"/>
