Release 5.2.5.1

Appvance customers can access the 5.2.5.1 release page. The release page includes a link to the AIQ 5.2.5.1 installer, the list of fixes included in the release, information on upgrading from a previous release of AIQ and other implementation considerations.

AIQ Release 5.2.5.1 is a targeted release and may require extra permissions to access the release page. Please consult with the Appvance Customer Success team to see if a particular maintenance release is appropriate.

Recreate the Controller Domain Certificate

After installing this release you will have to perform the following action:

  1. Log in to AIQ using an Admin account.

  2. Navigate to Admin Options > Certificate and provide the DNS or IP of your controller (for example ec2-18-144-104-71.us-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com) so the domain certificate is properly signed with the new ca certificate.

This will reboot the AIQ controller, so your team should be notified about this before you perform this process.

Add and Trust New CA Certificate to your windows/mac workstation

  1. Add the certificate new_ca.cer to the enduser’s operating system and trust it. Download it from https://aiq-certificate.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/2025/new_ca.cer

    • Windows: Double-click on new_ca.cer and install the certificate in the Trusted Root Certificates folder.

    • Mac: Double click on new_ca.cer and install the certificate in KeychainAccess app. Find the added certificate labeled ‘Appvance 2025’

Enhancements in AIQ 5.2.5.1

AIQ 5.2.5 contains the following functional enhancements.

Depending on what AIQ release you are upgrading from to AIQ 5.2.5.1, there may be additional functional enhancements included in this release.

Refer to the AIQ 5.2.x release notes for all the AIQ releases since your current release for more details.
