Install

  1. Go to https://downloads.mysql.com/archives/community/
  2. Click Product Version and configureselect MySQL5.7.31
  3. Click forOperating AIQSystem onlyand accordingselect Mac OS X
  4. Locate macOS 10.14 (x86, 64-bit), DMG Archive and click Download
  5. Open the downloaded package
  6. A warning may appear, with a legend similar to the“can’t supportedbe databaseopened versionbecause Apple cannot check it…” click OK

  7. Select Apple Menu and deploymentclick model.System DatabasePreferences
  8. Click configurationPrivacy affects& login,Security
  9. Click executionthe history,General reports, upgrades,tab and dataselect integrity.Open BeforeAnyway

      may appear, click Open

    • ConfirmWhen AIQ-supportedthe Install MySQL version,installer host,appears, port,click storage, charset, and collation.
    • Plan database user permissions, backup, restore, monitoring, and maintenance windows.Continue

    • Review firewall,the network,Software DNS,License certificate,Agreement, click Continue, then click Agree

    • When the Installation Type window appears, click Customize

    • Ensure MySQL Server, Preference Pane and OSLaunchd serviceSupport settings.are selected, and click Install

    • DocumentEnter configurationpassword valueswhen thatprompted

    • If AIQthe requiresSystem duringEvents.app installwarning orappears, upgrade.click OK

    • IMPORTANT When MySQL Installer provides the temporary password, note this password, it cannot be recovered!

    • When the Summary window appears, click Close

      If prompted you may move the installer to trash

    • Select Apple Menu and click System Preferences
    • Click MySQL
    • If MySQL is running, click Stop MySQL Server
    • Click Start MySQL Server

    ValidationInstall workflowMySQL Workbench

    1. ConfirmGo to https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/ and download MySQL Workbench
    2. Open the database service starts after reboot.installer
    3. ValidateWhen AIQprompted, can connect using the configured account.
    4. Run login, Scenario Editor, Service Suite,drag and reportingdrop smokeMySQLWorkbench.app tests.
    5. Reviewto database and AIQ logs for permission, packet size, or case-sensitivity issues.Applications
