Review Live Results While a Test Runs

Use live results to monitor a test while it is running. Live data helps detect invalid runs early, but final analysis should use completed results after the run has ended and all data has been processed.

Monitor during execution

  • Active users and ramp behavior.
  • Error rate and repeated failure messages.
  • Response-time trend changes.
  • Test Node or environment health symptoms.

When to stop a run

  1. Stop if credentials, data, or environment selection is wrong.
  2. Stop if the application under test becomes unstable outside the intended test scope.
  3. Stop if setup errors make the result invalid.
