Check Whether a Machine Is Ready to Run AIQ

The Readiness Check utility requires a few details about the systems where you planneeded to run AIQ components or executions.

What changed in this article

Validation workflow

1. Identify whether the host will run the controller, Test Node, browser execution, theor utilitysupporting gathersservices.
2. Validate specificOS, hardwarebrowser/runtime dependencies, network access, ports, certificates, and softwareresource detailscapacity.
3. Run abouta yoursmall machine(s)AIQ smoke test and generatesrecord logs before approving the machine for shared use.

Steps

Download and extract AIQ_EndUserSystem_ReadinessCheck.zip to everyvague machine where you plan use Appvance IQ. This includes your workstation/notebook, Controller and Test Node machines. Ensure that you have access to the 64-bit, Java 1.8 Runtime Environment (JRE). This 64-bit JRE environment can either from a 64-bit JDK 1.8 or 64-bit JRE 1.8 installation. Run the check on each machine using java -jar AIQ_EndUserSystem_ReadinessCheck.jar Send the generated report file, AIQ_EndUserSystem_ReadinessReport.txt, to your Appvance contact.
