Checking if a machine is ready to run Appvance IQ

Use the following information to determine the status of system requirements for running Appvance AIQ on your machine

The Readiness Check utility requires a few details about the systems where you plan to run Appvance IQ. Upon execution, the utility gathers specific hardware and software details about your machine(s) and generates a compatibility report indicating any missing Appvance IQ prerequisites.

Steps

1. Download and extract AIQ_EndUserSystem_ReadinessCheck.zip to every machine where you plan use Appvance IQ. This includes your workstation/notebook, Controller and Test Node machines.
2. Ensure that you have access to the 64-bit, Java 1.8 Runtime Environment (JRE). This 64-bit JRE environment can either from a 64-bit JDK 1.8 or 64-bit JRE 1.8 installation.
3. Run the check on each machine using java -jar AIQ_EndUserSystem_ReadinessCheck.jar
4. Send the generated report file, AIQ_EndUserSystem_ReadinessReport.txt, to your Appvance contact.
