Install a new SSL certificate to AIQ controller

Connect to the AIQ Controller server and locate the AppvanceIQ installation directory. The keystore file is appvance.jks at:

/opt/aiq/aiq_distribution/TestNode/etc/appvance.jks

Use the certificate-authority files you received with the following commands. When prompted, enter appvance as the keystore password.

Root Certificate

  1. Install the root certificate:
    $JAVA_HOME/bin ./keytool -importcert -keystore appvance.jks -alias root -file <root cer file name>
  2. Choose Y or Yes to trust it.

Intermediate Certificate

  1. Install the intermediate certificate:
    $JAVA_HOME/bin ./keytool -importcert -keystore appvance.jks -alias nsdroot -file <intermediate cer file name>
  2. Choose Y or Yes to trust it.

Server Certificate

  1. Install the server certificate:
    $JAVA_HOME/bin ./keytool -importcert -keystore appvance.jks -alias nsdserver -trustcacerts -file <server name crt> <mydomain.com.crt>

    The message Certificate reply was installed in keystore is displayed.
  2. Choose Y or Yes to trust it.
