Install a new SSL certificate to AIQ controller

Connect to the AIQ Controller server and findlocate the folder where AppvanceIQ isinstallation installed.directory. Find theThe keystore file calledis appvance.jks in the following path: at:

Keystore

/opt/aiq/aiq_distribution/TestNode/etc/appvance.jks

then depending onUse the certificatecertificate-authority files you received from your certificate authority usewith the following commandscommands. toWhen addprompted, yourenter certificateappvance files toas the keystore.

Provide 'appvance' as password when requested.password.

Root Certificate

Install the SSLroot Certificate (root) file to your keystore using the following command:

certificate:

$JAVA_HOME/bin ./keytool -importcert -keystore appvance.jks -alias root -file <root cer file name>
                                                    
                                                

Choose Y or Yes to trust the certificate.

Intermediate certificateCertificate

Install the SSLintermediate Certificate (intermediate) file to your keystore using the following command:

certificate:

$JAVA_HOME/bin ./keytool -importcert -keystore appvance.jks -alias nsdroot -file <intermediate cer file name>
                                                    
                                                

Choose Y or Yes to trust the certificate.

Server certificateCertificate

Install the SSLserver Certificate (server) file to your keystore using the following command:

certificate:

$JAVA_HOME/bin ./keytool -importcert -keystore appvance.jks -alias nsdserver -trustcacerts -file <server name crt> <mydomain.com.crt>

Themessage Certificate reply was installed in keystore message is displayed.

Choose Y or Yes to trust the certificate.
