AIQ Install Preparation Checklist - System Requirements

Please ensure all preparation checklist items are completed and verified prior to install

We recommend confirming the check list at least one business day prior to your scheduled install date, or more depending on your corporate timeframes for resolving permission issues.

  1. Allocate an Appvance IQ Controller per the Appvance IQ- System Requirements

    Use this checklist before installing or upgrading AIQ. This copy is scoped to system requirements and should stay aligned with the installation-and-configuration checklist to avoid duplicate or conflicting guidance.

    System readiness checks

    • Confirm supported operating systems, CPU, memory, disk, database, Java/runtime, browser, and network requirements.
    • Identify Controller, database, Test Node, browser/device, and integration hosts.
    • Validate ports, DNS, certificates, firewall rules, proxy requirements, and service accounts.
    • Confirm thestorage AIQplanning Requiredfor Portslogs, arereports, openexecution evidence, screenshots, videos, and database growth.
    • Document backup, recovery, monitoring, and maintenance-window expectations.

  4. Downloadinto the providedinstallation Appvancechecklist IQwhen build. If not already provided, please request from your Appvance contact.
  5. Unless an alternate database was discussed, download (but do not install) the MySQL (MySQL-installer-community) from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/
