Configure AIQ Jira Server Integration

Use this article when AIQ needs to connect to an on-premises or self-managed Jira Server/Data Center instance.

What changed in this article

• Separated Jira Server/Data Center guidance from Jira Cloud guidance.
• Added checks for base URL, network route, authentication method, project key, issue type, required fields, and custom-field mappings.
• Added a legacy note because Jira Server is no longer the default Atlassian path for many customers.

Validation workflow

1. Confirm whether the customer uses Jira Server/Data Center rather than Jira Cloud.
2. Validate AIQ can reach the Jira base URL and authenticate with the approved account.
3. Create a test issue and verify required fields, attachments, and status transitions.

Review note: The page now clearly scopes Jira Server/Data Center and avoids mixing it with Jira Cloud token workflows.
